Thanks for this Elph – it helps to explain why that week is just a hazy cloud with only a couple of memory snippets of the parade and going next day to Duntroon House in our new summer service dress with shiny pips!
(although I’m a bit perplexed by the fact that you keep a file of all this kind of stuff for 50 years!!)
