Our quiet achiever Jeff Brock has been captured in a great portrait which was discovered by Geoff Hay in the Kandahar section of the Australian War Memorial.

As Jeff said “the paintings were done sometime after 2007 from photos taken of him, and others, when posted to a US 82^nd Airbourne Division DUST OFF Company. I was lucky to get home in one piece.
Working with the Americans can be a health hazard! AME machines with a red cross were just an aiming mark for the Taliban”.

What a great effort.
