Roll Book

I’ver just added an ‘IN MEMORIAM’ section to the Roll Book (password protected page). If you have any memorabilia of the type I’ve used, it would be gratefully received. Must be simple!

New Photos

A few new photos/images have been posted, mostly in the 1969 Gallery, but also here and there in the others.

I hope the 1969 ones don’t invoke any dormant traumas!

Web page (mis)management

The management of the Class of 72 web page is somewhat experimental: it is, after all, in the hands of a artist rather and a scientist or engineer. So – apologies if things sometimes go awry or take a while to be fixed. Please also note that I (David Cran) am the main editor and administrator, so if there are any mistakes or other corrections required, let me know.

More on the Reunion

I’ve had some additions to the list of attendees passed to me. Please note the message on the Reunion page, which states  “Tony McLeod is the point of contact at this stage, and will keep this page updated. Please let him know if there`s anything else which you may wish to include. He’ll do more research and post appropriate links so interested people will get a better idea of what each of the activities entails.” Please make contact with Tony if you have any queries or information about the reunion.

And please pass on the website link to anyone in the Class you run across. We’ll look to include a link in the next issue of Snippets as well.

Podmore Foundation

I’ve taken the liberty of pasting the text of an email from Duncan McInnes below, although you’ve probably already received it directly.

“I do hope this email finds you well and continuing to enjoy life now in your late-60’s !! Best wishes for your year ahead.

Callo, thanks again for use of your email broadcast list.

This year marks the fifth and final year of our Class Bursary with The Podmore Foundation. We are providing our annual Bursary for the five years only; 2013-2017. Almost at the summit now !!

I thank those who have already given generously to our Bursary Fund.

I particularly invite those who have not participated to date. This will be your final opportunity. I encourage you to join with your classmates to strive for better things in our Australian society.

Your help is welcomed to the worthy cause of providing educational opportunities for our Australian Indigenous youth. No better way to show that you mean it –  than to do it!!

Our bursary recipient, Aubrey Faull from the NSW Central Coast, is in Year 12 at St Ignatius College in Sydney this year.  As a young promising student, away from his home, we aim to provide him with the opportunity of our Bursary.

Please make your contribution for 2017 to our Bursary Fund by 31 March.
