A Final Brissie Lunch for 2024

A final lunch as Jon Mander-Jones couldn’t make the Southport gathering.

We were blessed with some additional family members as well, as Maurie was on Grandparent duties with his Grandson Jack and Jon’s youngest son Chris had just flown in that morning from the USA.

Some of the group had a wardrobe malfunction by choosing the same silly shirt for the day – some people just can’t keep out of uniform !

Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year to all.

Regards,

JohnMc

  1. And to you to, John. I made a fleeting visit to Canberra on Monday and Tuesday of last week to join the local chapter and ring-in Paddy for their Xmas wind-up. Stayed with Pat Cullinan. Most pleasant time all-round. Can’t get over how old they all look, though. I was sorely tempted to give them my secret but thought better of it for fear of publicly embarrassing them. That would really have been poor form. All the very best Seasons Greetings to you and yours. PJ

    • Gosh – we offer a welcoming hand of friendship and all we get in return is a snide ageist comment. The words ‘pot’ and ‘kettle’ come to mind!
